Some people believe that governments should concentrate on economic development, other people think that protect nature is more vital. While developing the economy have many benefits, I still believe that protect the nature is more important.
It is claimed that develop the economy is important, governments should focus on it. Economic growth can provide more work opportunities and improving incomes, therefore, it will reduce the number of unemployed people and make people earn more money. In addition, developing the economy help people improve their living standard, for example, they can buy more expensive things and afford big house or travel. Besides, if the economy is not growing, it is difficult to protect the environment.
It is supported that the environment protection is more important than economic development because protect the natural is essential for people’s health and life, pollution can cause serious problems for human health, for example, the pollution in factories make the weather is bad, it is harmful to children and old people healthy and cause some diseases. If the environment is polluted, economic growth can’t solve the problem.
I believed that economic development is more essential, because better environment protection need to improving the economy, if economic is not growth, government is difficult to protect nature and improve people’s quality of life, therefore, government should more focus on improve the economy.
In conclusion, although protect the nature is important for human, we cannot only concentrate on environment protection, therefore, in some cases, economic development is more important for people’s lives and nature.
