The provided pie chart illustrate the proportion of students who has studied several courses at an education centre in 1995 and the present.

Overall, it is obvious that most students preferred studying modern languages in 1985, while the opposite was true for IT in the current year. Another striking feature is that the popularity of fitness and dance has remained stable.

Looking more closely at the details, the proportion of learners who have chosen modern languages and art occupied 24% and 17% in 1995, respectively. In the current year, the figure for cutting-edge languages has decreased significantly by 7%, which is three times more than that of art. In contrast, there is a modest increase from 14% to 19% in the popularity of cookery. In addition, the figure for fitness and dance has remained constant at 22%.

Regarding the remaining categories, it is evident that local history courses accounted for 15%, which was nearly two times more than that of music appreciation in 1995. However, both courses have been replaced by IT courses, which attracts a large number of learners.
