Recently the way people communicate with eachother has changed because of enormous influence of advanced devices, gadgets and artificial intelligence. In general, new technologies have improved our existence, however they changed course of many peoples’ lives forever.
Life has not been the same since devices firstly appeared in humans’ hands. Technologies managed to make people’s personalities way too different. We started using our social medias, which at first seemed to be unknown and mysterious side of the World Wide Web, but after approximately 25 years, they became common things we use in our everyday life. According to American 2020 “New York times” release, young men and women need not to quit their house, yard or neighbourhood to find a perfect romantic lover anymore. They tend to get acquainted with people their age online, therefore they do not have to meet in real life. The fact that popularity of internet and social medias had been growing bigger and bigger in 21st century led to many different issues, for example, the amount of sociopaths increased, dates which used to take places in Tinder or Twitter could completely be cut off, if a person did not like another one’s appearance, gold fish’s attention span being longer than average human being’s. And, obviously, “phone addiction” started to be one of global problems. Nowadays people literally cannot go anywhere without their smartphone and everyday it just gets worse.
As I already mentioned, technical development was pretty negative. Obviously, coin has two sides, but most of consequences could not get any worse. Gen Z was the first generation to be born when gadgets were already here, so for us, technologies suppose to be the easiest science to understand. Unfortunately, when humans started to improve AI work, teenagers and even adults got confused. Artificial intelligence can be used in different situations and almost in everything it gives you correct answer and does everything perfect. Does it mean that our jobs could be replaced by robots and programmes? Nobody knows. But as said, artists were always here even when photo cameras were invented, mathematics never gave up even when people created calculators.
In conclusion, I’d like to say that even when technologies were invented and then improved, human’s imagination has always been valuable. Our personalities are different from eachother, and robot can only make our work better, but it cannot create a unique masterpiece.
