n our world today, striving for retirement is hard as everything is become more expensive and more difficult to achieve. Care (health or general care) and financial support can be hard to provide when reaching an older age, and some people choose not to retire as they cannot afford to provide that for themselves, but could that chnage if goverments are responsible with changing citizens worries to comfort and calmness.
If goverments provide retirees with financial support and care, this can allow citizens to feel more comfortable and easier their worries about retiring, and when a certain age is placed for retirees, this can allow citizens to feel more motivated to work harder so they can retire at that age and just relax, but if the citizen works and constantly has to worry about saving money for retirement and to provide money for themsleves right now, they will just feel extremely uneasy and be in a chaotic state. Whereas knowing that they can save money for their retirment and for themsleves right now as their financial support and care is taken care of in the future is already provided this can give their mental healths a boost. Especially elders retirees with low paying jobs and no families that have different medications and health problems, and some retirees might be guardians of small children and would be unable to always provide. But this can cause citizens to work less, which leads to lower work ethic, and as they are feeling at ease this can inturn make them demotivated to actually work hard right now, and when they fully rely on the goverment, there would then be a higher number of early retirees and this can be very bad economically.
In my opinion, I fully believe that goverments should provide care and financial support for retirees, but there should be an assigned retiring age for each career so economically things remain stable.
