t is thought that children should be encouraged to spend their leisure time just with on educational activities. I totally disagree with this idea. Shouldn’t restrained by educational activities.
First of all, young individuals need time to improve their social skills. These skills essential for all human beings and childhood is the best time to learn them. I believe, games and childhood friendships could provide suitable atmosphere for developments of these features. For example, it’s known that children who have more friends and spend more time with playing games with their friends tend to have better communication abilities in their work life. Therefore, I strongly believe that young individuals should have free time so they can spend not only for academic activities but also for games and their friends.
Hobbies are also beneficial for children, especially, about for their cognitive functions and their academic success. Due to that I think students should be encouraged to have hobbies. Researchs have illustrated that, students who spend time on their hobbies regular have better exam scores than the others. Additionally, they’re great way to improve concentration ability, that’s also key component for academic success. These are evident in the biographies of succesful successful and creative people. For instance, Barack Obama has said that he was successful because he played baseball a lot when he was a little child. In my opinion, it’s evident that children should have hobbies and they should have free time for their hobbies.
In conclusion, free time shouldn’t be filled with only educational activities, and children should be encouraged to spend time with their friends, playing games and doing their hobbies due to their possible positive impacts on them.
