Similarly, cycling as a mode of transport has seen a drastic downward trend, as the number of rides in 2010 has gone down to almost 30% of the number observed in 1990. The number of trips made via walking and bus has also reduced to half in 2010 of what they were in 1990. However, the number of trips made using the bus has also decreased, but not drastically.
The number of trips made by students as a car passenger in 2010 has increased to almost more than double of what was reported in 1990.
