Education has been considered an important aspect of human evolution and growth. The advent of online learning has led to heated debate over whether the traditional classroom model should be replaced. Supporters argue that these classes allow social interaction and promote mental development of students, whereas critics of this idea claim that online learning is superior in terms of easy accessibility and personalised learning. This essay agrees with statement that the original learning method is indeed outdated.
There are a number of arguments in favour of my stance, the most preponderant one is that online learning methods offers the advantage of being accessible from all over the world, eliminating geographical barriers. Unlike traditional lectures that has to be attended physically at specific time, internet teaching offer recoded lectures all year long which is valuable for individuals that cannot attend classes due to time constraint or financial issues.
Moreover, classrooms apply the concept of one size fits all method in teaching strategy whereas online websites help to develop individualised learning strategies based on strehngths and weaknesses of each pupil. Platforms like Khan academy and duolingo provide AI-based programs that assess the knowledge of each person and then help to focuss on deficiencies for a more comprehensive and efficient time utilization.
In conclusion, even though classrooms are still widely accepted as primary source of education, based on the arguments above it is necessary to adopt newer techniques for the overall betterment of everyone.
