Band 5+: In some countries, a few people earn extremely high salaries. Some people think that is good for a country, while others believe that the government should control salaries and limit the amount people can earn

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In contemporary society, people can receive a wide range of monthly salaries, from basic to top. It is commonly believed, that the government should control and set some limits for the higher income. On the other hand, part of the population is thought to be useful for a government’s treasure. In my essay, I will discuss about drawbacks and benefits both of views and I will contribute my opinion, on why governments should not be involved in the ban process but it can use some regulation tools.

Differencing income cuts a society into three economic classes, such as lower, middle, and higher. The hard working`s employees can see how unfair salaries politic should be between them and management. It is generally argued, that government should make some steps in law and regulate income through the taxes, child`s benefits, higher insurance and so so. A good example could be two man. The work one of them is evaluated in few hundreds, while second person`s income is calculated in few ten thousand pounds. It will be deeply unfair, if they will get the same amount of child`s benefits or pay the same scale of tax. Therefore, it is necessary, that the government set some regulation politics for sustainable society.

Secondly, the government cannot make any steps with banned of salary. In democratically society it is unacceptable to make a cap for salaries, because it will be against the law. For instance, the government`s council made the decision and brought the cap of the top income. CEO and management communities went to the court. Consequently, the court make a decision it is again the law and has to cancel every cap.

In short, the both of views can bring something positive for people, who aren’t worthy. As a fact the government has some economically tools, which can be used and can contribute to make a some balance between poorest and second group. However, it muss not be used tools for ban of top salaries, because this decision can be collision with democracy law.
