Overall, Sweden, which had the highest divorce rate, fell at the end of the period. A contrasting thing can be seen in the case of finland. After a certain period, Sweden’s share in the divorce rates started to reduce whereas that of Finland rose.

In 2011, The percentages of Finland and Sweden were approximately 38% and 43% respectively, but in the upcoming period that is 2012, Finland divorce rates declined marginally to close to 33% whereas Sweden’s rate amplified to approximately 5% to 6% additionally.

After this period there was a contrary trend that occurred, where there was a standard increase in Finland divorce rates to above 41% approximately in 2015 and Sweden’s percentage declined to 38% approx.
