A lot of people believe that choosing a future job early and working without changing it later is the only way to become a successful specialist. In contrast, I think that changing a career does not thwart the success and it is completely normal to change it throughout the life.
In some individuals’ viewpoint, choosing a career path earlier and never changing it is a determining fact of success. Knowing the major that is meant for life can be a great start to become a successful specialist in the future. Early beginning contributes to more experiences from a young age, which declines the time when this person will see the success. For instance, Laila Nurgozhina, elementary class teacher, knew the major that she wanted to choose from her childhood. Teaching the kids was the activity that she liked to be involved in. She became the best teacher of Kazakhstan twice, won a million-tenge prize for her teaching project. Her different kinds of awards show how choosing a career early and never changing it later can make someone a successful specialist.
However, in my personal viewpoint, changing a career cannot determine if the person will not become a good specialist. The fast-changing world with different technologies ruined some people’s careers. Because modern problems are in need for specialists that can find an innovative solution for them. Technologies replaced the experts in some areas. Thus, it is never late to start working in a different major. For instance, the founder of McDonald’s could start his own business in his 60s. He had found a solution to the modern problem and showed how changing a career can contribute to become a successful expert.
In conclusion, becoming the best specialist may be possible if individuals grow on their professions that they chose early in life. However, changing the major later cannot hinder the success.
