Every student should be accepted to enter any campus and faculty despite their academic performance. I personally disagree with this statement and this essay will illustrate how I contradict this idea.
First of all, allowing incapable students in any studies they want without acknowledging their academic results makes the topic harder to understand for the students. Each of the subjects such as science, math, social, etc that are taught in high school require deep understanding for attending certain faculties once in college which academic feedbacks play a crucial part in succeeding. Resulting in ineffective performance, the learners cannot fully comprehend the specific topics. Furthermore, there are limited seats in each faculty, students that are capable of studying might mostly get replaced by incapable students. It can be seen from the capable students who would like to attend the medical faculty or engineering, they are deprived of their right to education. Therefore, some of the faculties might not reach the expected number of participants.
On the other hand, the acceptance of every student to any major in the campus would be a benefit for learners to accomplish their dreams. For example, students with low academic performance could attend faculties with specific requirements and are not disqualified from taking part in the specialized classes. The open enrollment at the university can increase the interest of students and enhance them to acquire the academic skill according to their preference.
In conclusion, allowing the interested students to attend their determined admission into the program will have an effect on their graduated performance, moreover most of the capable students will lack the opportunity to enter the interested faculty due to the insufficient seats. However, students who prefer to study in specific areas can have a chance to accomplish their passion.
