The diagram depicts the process by which plastic bottles are recycled.
In general, bottle recycling undergoes nine main stages, beginning from the collection of plastic bottles from various sources of residential dust and ending with the production of new products based on recycled sources.
At the first stage in the recycling process, bottles are collected from many households’ plastic bottles and sequentially transported to a recycling centre. Here, the bottles are categorized to choose which ones can be recycled. Following that, a large number of sorted bottles are compressed into different blocks before being crushed and washed under a water container to eliminate foreign matter.
After the washing process has finished, the output is used to produce plastic pellets, and then a heating process is applied to these pellets to form raw materials. Finally, these sources of material are available to produce many essential goods, such as T-shirts, pencils, or recycled plastic bottles, which serve various purposes in people’s lives.
