The graph shows the use of public transportation by different age groups in two regions in 2016. As seen from the graph, in the large city residents, the group of 31-45 years old is the highest user of public transportation compared to the older group from 61-75 years old who were the lowest users of public transportation in this region. The same trend was also for other residents’ region where the oldest group, 76+ age group, was the lowest users of transportation. In this region, as can be seen from the graph, public transportation was most used by the age group of 16-30.

In the large city residents, as indicated in the graph, the highest number of public transportation users came from the age group 31-45, who reached just undert 70%. It was a stark contrast with the group of 61-75 years old. These groups were the lowest users of public transportation in this region which was about 10 % from the total population of the region. Compared to the same age group from other residents’ regions, the public users of group 61-75 were double.

The same trend happened in other residents’ locations where the oldest age group became the less users of public transportation. Only just under 10 % of the group used public transportation in this area. Different from the oldest group, the age group of 16-30 were the highest number of users in this region. It was around 25 % of users. However, for the same age group from the other region, the percentage was double, it was just above 50%.
