The number of university students who decide to study science subjects are not sufficient. Plenty of reasons contributing to this, as well as wide range of related impacts .

Theoritical concepts are found too difficult by students at universities. These kind of subjects demand lots of background knowledge in different domains such as, Math, Algebra, and Biology. Consequently, they prefer not taking these courses.

According to statistics, the Calculus and Basic Biology marks of students are highly associated with their marks in science subjects. The other major reason is lack of clear career path. Unlike vocational or professional courses, science courses leave people uncertain about their future jobs. Lack of enough apparent applications leads to a significant loss of interest among students.

These kind of reasons will have drastic long-term impacts on society, as well as individuals. Firstly, by ignoring Theoritical concepts, benefitial features like problem solving and being detail oriented which are two key advantage of a good employee will be disappeared.Therefore, if not properly taken care of this problem, it can result in having less job opportunities for individuals and poor economic situation for society as well.

In summary, tough theoritical concepts and unclear career path have definitely caused scarcity of students in science classes, and In a long-term they can cause so many long-lasting impacts , such as fewer job opportunities for graduates, and lower-quality staffs.
