A plethora of individuals think youngsters should work for society without expecting returns, as it helps both the community and young people. However, I disagree with this opinion, and the following essay will discuss the same.
Firstly, the majority of young people do social work, but it is not always the case that their efforts will be rewarded, although they should be paid for their efforts towards the task, as it makes them realize there is a place for them in the world, and they value the amount they received towards their effort. For instance, if a person gets all the money they want in their comfort zone, then they will not value that currency and will spend it like water.
Moreover, paying them helps manage their daily expenses, although it would not cover large expenses, minor ones can easily be afforded. Additionally, numerous young people feel it is improper to ask their parents for funds after a certain age. For example, a person without employment will feel ashamed of themselves because they have to ask their guardian for every minor expense.
On the contrary, in certain situations, the effort towards the society should not be compared with the cash, as it has a sense of value towards a region or religion, while the youth should be proud for providing their service towards the area they live in.
In conclusion, I state that young people should get a stipend for the duties they have performed, despite the other perspective of community tasks to be performed without the expectation of any rewards they shall receive.
