Country A was the leader of oil consumption throughout the period, slowly increasing to 2005 and decreasing in 2010, starting at 8 million barrels per day in 2002 and peaking at approximately 9.5 million barrels per day in 2015. In contrast, country D had the lowest consumption, beginning at about 2.0 million barrels per day in 2002 and slightly increasing to around 2.5 million barrels per day by the end of the period, and had the same falling trend with country B from 2011 to 2015.
Comparing countries A and D, oil consumption in country A was significantly higher, with a difference of about 6.0 million barrels per day in 2002 and 7.0 million barrels per day in 2015. Country B and country C showed average consumption levels. Country B started at around 1.0 million barrels per day in 2002, rising to about 3 million barrels per day and crossed with country C in 2010 and then had a dramatic fall. Country C had an unchangeable and steady trend for the whole period.
