The bar chart demonstrates four different options solving the global warming were chosen by young people (measured in percentage of people) in four countries—Portugal, Poland, Romania and Holland—in 2008.
Overall, the young people in Portugal showed a significant enthusiasm in changing their lifestyle to solve this environmental issue, nearly 45% people tried to choose this way. 40% of them also opt to mitigate this issue by setting government regulations and utilizing advanced technology. The percentage of choosing other ways reached at 30%.
In contrast, the people in Holland showed a preference in using advanced technology and adopting other manners, nearly 30% of them tried in these two ways. Government regulations and Lifestyle just occupied 10% and 13% respectively.
The young people in Romania were more likely to solve this problem by setting government regulations and using advanced technology(both have the percentage of 20%), comparing to other two ways that just around 15% of people choose them. The percentages of young people in Poland with Lifestyle, Government regulations and none of these were within the range of 30% to 25%, while just 10% of young people used advanced technology to solve the global warming
