Band 6+: The diagram below shows how coal is used to generate electricity.

Image for topic: The diagram below shows how coal is used to generate electricity.
Our system will evaluate the answer based on this AI-generated description.
The image depicts a process diagram illustrating the use of coal to generate electricity, initiating with coal being fed into a pulverizer, transferring the pulverized coal into a furnace where it undergoes combustion; the heat produced enters a boiler appearing as a cylindrical structure, subsequently converting water into steam, which is then directed towards a turbine, causing it to spin; this rotational motion is transferred to a generator adjacent to the turbine that converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy; the electricity produced is subsequently routed to a transformer, depicted downstream, which adjusts voltage levels before the electricity is finally transmitted via power lines.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The given diagram depicts the process of the coal usage in the electricity generation.

From an overall perspective, this process contains 6 stages starting up with coal collection and ending up with transporting generated electricity to the power lines.

First of all, once the coal has been collected in the special container, it is then needs to be pulverized, in order to convert large coals into smaller ones. It is then transferred into furnace, where it is burnt. The excess smoke comes out through the pipe. The warm air from the burnt coal helps turbine to rotate and give its energy to generator. Moreover, the heat helping to the work of turbine cools again and starting the process from the start. Once the generator has received the heat, it is then generates electricity and sends it to the transformer, which transfers generated electricity to the power lines, in order to provide electricity to the town or city.
