The scheme illustrates the key steps needed to succesfuly produce olive oil.
Overall, the whole process consists of seven steps from which the last one allows customres to buy the finished product. It can be divided into two separate parts from which the first one is focused on creating an olive paste and the second on using it as a base for the finished product.
In order to get the base of the olive oil it is necessary to first pick the olives from the tree and then rinse them with water by the special machine. This makes them clean and ready for next steps. After, the olives are put into a container-like machine and smashed, so the olive paste can be created. Its task is also to part the stones from the olive, which are not used later in the process.
Put in the special bags with holes in it, the olive paste is pressed and then separated. This process allows the oil to be water-free and therefore ready for sale. Before being put in the shop it is safely stored in storages. Only after this, olive oil ends up in the shops allowing people to buy it.
