The process shown in the flow chart illustrates how tourists negatively affect the rural area by trampling the ground.
Overall, people walking in the countryside have a detrimental impact on the territory through the vegetation and soil damage, which ultimately leads to a decrease in the ground and plant quality.
First of all, flora destruction occurs because of pressing down the grass by walking on it. Subsequently, the grass and flowers are not only getting feebler, they become incapable of generation and growth. That results in decreased greenery.
In the meantime, soil compaction caused by trampling leads to the lack of water and oxygen. Compacted and hard soil is unsuitable for plants to reproduce and cultivate. What’s more, it leads to increased erosion along with water draining and brings about diminished vegetation.
These processes conclusively contribute to the shortage of water in the ground, erosion and the poor condition of soil and greenery in general.
