In the world, lifespan has increased dramatically. Recent development of medicine has led to the rise in lifetime and one conceivably reuslt is decrease in economics.
For the last decade, people have been strongly concerned about their health. So,new machines, including x-ray, have been invented and it has led to improvements in speed and quality of check-ups,since technologies could observe patients within few minutes and ensure reliabilty by providing photos and other parameters. Thats why doctors could prescribe draconian cure to patients, soaring their chances to survive. In addition, strict laws have been implemented concernig the education of doctors, requiring better knowledge to undergraduate. And since it was harder to enter a university and graduate it, less and less non-professionals could acquire diploma, which enabled to employ at hospitals. As a result, chacnes to derive wrong treatment would be lower.
The number of elderly population, which has risen strongly, being the result of longer lifespan, and usage of contraception resulted in inequality between young and elderly population. As a result, the quantity of working population has declined and it is becoming harder to provide neccesary funds to the government. In Japan,by the next 50 years the size of taxes is expected to double to supply enough revenue.Lack of revenue, in turn, can force the officials to set limitaions on public services ans prioritize nursing homes in order to cope with growing demand from elderly generation. As public services provide job for vast majority of employees, the level of unemployment may increase.
To sum up, expectation of life has soared, due to the developed medicine and the quality of education, having negative implications o economics, because of inbalance bewtween the age of population.
