According to the data, between 1970 and 1990, home cooking was spent on a higher proportion at 90%, 85% and 65%, compared to budget spent on restaurant meals was at 10%,15% and 35%. It is interesting that both figures share the same proportion at 50% at the end.
In terms of the number of meals, both figures started at the same number at 20. During 1980, the figures for fastfood and sitdown increased slighly to approximately 29 and 33, respectively. After that the number of fastfood meals experienced a sharp rise to 85, surpassing that of the sitdown meals being almost 50.
