The pie graphs illustrate the percentages of the methods of international students for booking online English courses in three different countries, namely Australia, the USA and Canada, between 2009 and 2010.
Overall, it is apparent that the data reveals a significant shift in the proportion of the methods in Australia and Canada, while that of in the USA remain quite stable. Additionally, Arrival method and booking online are the most popular ways in Australia, whereas pre-booking and arrival have the largest share in Canada.
Looking specifically at Australia, booking in the Internet increased from 24% in 2009 to 39% in 2010, which was the majority choice. Followed by arrival method rose from 26% to 30%. However, the proportion of pre-booked and other methods dropped to under 21%.
In the USA, the pecentages of all the methods quite stable; pre-booked with agent made up the major rate, about 25% respectively. Futhermore, the number of arrival method remain unchanged over the time.
Regarding Canda, a huge changed was obsevre in the rate of arrival method, whose declined from 45% to 26%. Meanwhile, pre-booked with agent became the largest percentage with a significant increased from 22% in 2009 to 35% in 2010
