The chart illustrates some different ways of booking online English courses by foreign students in USA, Canada and Australia in 2009 and 2010. Overall, the average percentage of arrival and internet methods of booking have not been decrease under 24% each, among all three countries in both years.
First of all, in Australia the number of those who are reserving online English courses with the help of the internet changed dramatically. It has grown up in 15% in one year. In addition, arrival method also has made a slight jump in 4% from 26% in 2009 to 30% in 2010. Besides, pre-booking method has made a rapid decrease from 27% to 11%. Other ways of registration on courses has made a small downfall in 3% as well.
In the USA, all the numbers have not changed that significantly, apart from pre-booking with agent method, which has made a gradual rise in 4%, from 24% in 2009 to 28% in 2010. In the Canada, the percentage of arrival method users has made a significant decline from 45% to 26%. In contrast, other ways of booking have dramatically increased from 6% to 18%. Moreover, pre-booking method also hugely rose from 22% to 35%.
