The provided maps demonstrate the difference of Huntingdon’s appearance in two periods : at the moment and the future.
Overall, there are currently 4 main roads in use for transportation: A1, A14, Brampton Road and Ring Road. Besides that, they also widen the road and add some facilities.
As of now, the Airfield in the A1 way will be converted into Industrial estate and the A1 will be narrowed at the end of the way. While the A14 runs from the northwest to southeast, it will be merged into the future end of the A1 road. It is also the way, which leads to the Ring Road. Furthermore, the junction of the A1 and Brampton Road to the west of the town will be divided separately into two parts; however, they still meet each other through the roundabout, which will be constructed from the Brampton Road, Ring Road and the old A14 road. The railway will be added the industrial estate in the future.
