Park Design Comparison
The two maps show how the park looks now and the changes for the new design in 2020. Overall, the park becomes more modern with many new areas for people to use.
In the current park, there is a football pitch and a duck pond at the top. In the middle, there is a large lawn with a water fountain and a sheltered area for resting. On the right side, there is a small clubhouse and many trees are planted around the park.
In the new design, there are several big changes. The football pitch is changed into a larger sports field, and the duck pond is replaced by a dog park. They also added a car park and restrooms in the top right corner. The old clubhouse is moved, and a new cafe and restaurant are built at the bottom. The main lawn, water fountain, and sheltered area stay in the same place. Finally, the whole park now has free Wi-Fi for all visitors.
The maps below show a science park in 2008 and the same park today.

This graphic illustrates the development of a science park from 2008 until today.
Overall, the park has undergone significant redevelopment over the last eight years, with the addition of new paths and facilities, along with a notable alteration of the general layout of the park, reflecting new objectives and challenges faced by the park, as well as enhancing convenience for both its staff and visitors.
In 2008, the park featured an IT center in the southwest, certain business units located in the western part of the park, offices and a reception jointly positioned in the northeast, a cyber security facility located southeast, and a car park placed between the business units and the cyber security facilities. There was a network of roads and paths, along with a railroad, ensuring access to the park and its facilities.
Since then, this area has seen a dramatic transformation. Specifically, the IT center has been transformed into an innovation center. In grasslands in the northwestern part of the park, a new building designated for research and development has been constructed. Notably, it appears that the reception is set to be replaced with a university hub. The cyber security building has been notably increased, ultimately gaining a G-shape. In contrast, the car park has been slightly decreased, sharing some space with the cyber security premises. Finally, a far more developed road system has been constructed in the park. For example, a cycle path, a wider network of paths, and a railway station have been added, providing better access to the park for both its staff and visitors.
