People must experience different cultures and traditions. The statement that “countries are becoming more similar due to the same products available all over the world” indicates how the rapid rise in globalisation and fashion trends has influenced societies worldwide. This development has both advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, it is beneficial to understand and adopt certain products from different regions. The popularity of fashion and food has increased significantly with the rise of social media. Tourists and influencers who visit various countries often share their experiences related to clothing styles and cuisines on online platforms. As a result, people become more aware of global cultures. Sometimes, artists can also influence culture worldwide. For example, the rise of the Korean band BTS has not only encouraged people across the world to learn the language but has also created significant interest in Korean food such as ramen and kimchi.

On the other hand, many young people who are influenced by Western culture are gradually forgetting their roots. They may feel embarrassed about their own traditions and customs. For instance, in India, some individuals feel reluctant to wear traditional clothing like the dhoti and saree, as they consider them old-fashioned. Additionally, students may face criticism for eating with their hands, which is a traditional practice, as using cutlery is often viewed as more modern or prestigious.

In conclusion, although learning about other cultures is important, individuals should not abandon their own traditions. People should take pride in their cultural identity while also appreciating and learning from others.

    band 7.5:
Nowadays people can get the same goods from the shells of the stores in different countries around the world. I strongly believe that it is quite a favorable change because you can try and taste products without spending your means on expensive flights and travels.

First of all, one major reason for people to enjoy this development is an access to a range of different products in the local stores and markets. They have an opportunity either to improve their rations or learn new cooking recipes at home without any particular problem. As an example, I’ve personally decided to lose some excess weight and the right diet is very important for that process. Moreover, I managed to plan the menu for a few weeks and a lot of low-calorie products were accessible for me.

Secondly, the modern world can provide us with fruits and vegetables from a range of countries and regions that our ancestors couldn’t even imagine about 2 centuries ago. Furthermore, it is not a big surprise that every single plant needs different conditions to grow properly. For instance, mango and pineapples basically cannot reach their familiar size and colour in my country, Kazakhstan, due to the fast-changing climate.

On the other hand, these trends might decrease the level of interest of people to travel and investigate something new because they already have everything at home. Nevertheless, such things as food or other products may motivate them to at least try tourism, especially when it’s so comfortable today.

In conclusion, I’d like to suggest that in general the accessibility of everything today possesses more benefits rather than the drawbacks. It definitely makes our lives easier which is a common consequence of world development over the years.

  3. Bisma says:

Nations are becoming alike in this global era by consuming identical products from anywhere in the world. I strongly reckon that it is a negative development, because of the loss of one’s own cultural heritage. On the other hand, people who cannot afford branded products greatly appreciate this concept of buying anything from anywhere.

Individuals who cannot afford expensive products, like branded clothes, jewellery, and shoes, can now buy everything cheaply at their doorstep. For instance, they can enjoy different products from their ideal brands like Zara, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Nike, etc. They can buy these second-hand items in no time without spending a huge amount of money. By buying foreign things and wearing them in their own country, they feel ecstatic by looking like people from other nations after adopting their style.

On the other hand, individuals are getting far away from their cultural lifestyle by adapting other people’s living and clothing styles, especially from those who belong to Western nations. To illustrate this, in Pakistan most older people, like grandmothers and grandfathers, prefer to wear their own customized, self-stitched clothing. However, now this trend is changing at a high velocity due to the fact that young people prefer to look like Western people. Hence, this younger generation is following modern dressing, and they are becoming distinct from their own national and cultural heritage like dresses, food, etc.

To sum up, although buying the same products from anywhere helps people to pursue their dreams, by purchasing their desired items at a low price due to their availability, this can neither help those people to maintain their cultural heritage nor to protect their own national style.

In the global era, all countries in the world have come under one roof because all the people consume the same kind of goods such as foods, drinks, cosmetics and etc. In my perspective, I believe that this carries both positive and negative impacts. This essay will explain both of these sides.

On the one hand, the significant advantage is that all people can utilize the same quality products, which leads to developing equality among people. To be more precise, people from poor and rural nations are able to purchase high-standard and branded products at an affordable price, such as electrical and electronic items like the latest version of computers, smartphones, and other devices. For example, in Sri Lanka, a few years ago, many students did not have advanced laptops; meanwhile, in other nations, every young person had at least two electronic devices, but nowadays, every person can use the same type of devices. Hence, if this trend continues, the whole world will change, become globalized, and achieve equality.

On the other hand, however, this has some drawbacks, such as each country losing its individuality and cultural heritage. Furthermore, every country has plenty of specialties in every sector, such as foods, drinks, and games. If people buy and use the same kind of goods that are popular in another country, their originality will be affected. For instance, India is very famous for traditional food, but now people prefer to consume foreign-made fast foods, like Japanese and Chinese food, which leads to a loss of their tradition. Therefore, I believe this trend has some cons.

In conclusion, globalization has become very normal among countries. So, this world becoming more equal and similar has some positive impacts, such as all people being able to consume high-quality products, while it also has some demerits, like countries losing their individuality, cultural heritage, and traditional things.

Countries and nations all over the globe are selling and consuming the same kinds of products. In my view, it is a negative development. On one side, people now have access to things that were inaccessible a few decades ago, but on the other side, diversity is lost.

The world has now become a global village, thanks to the internet and e-commerce. Products of the same quality can be delivered to remote areas of Somalia as well as to high-altitude Himalayan valleys. Knowledge and accessibility among the masses about garments, shoes, automobiles, computers, laptops, and other items are touching new horizons. For example, even an eight-year-old child living in Pakistan can order the latest iPhone launched thousands of kilometers away in the USA.

On the other hand, capitalism has resulted in the loss of diversity, creativity, and customization. People are busy purchasing the same goods and services under peer pressure. For example, our grandmothers used to wear customized, self-stitched, and embroidered dresses. Every woman used to look different, wearing her own unique design. Nowadays, everyone looks the same. Luxury brands like Gucci, Zara, and Louis Vuitton have made people brand-conscious. Sales on favourite brands compel people to engage in frenzy shopping, which fuels consumerism. Furthermore, scammers are selling cheap quality and unnecessary products in the name of trends and making huge amounts of money.

In conclusion, though there are some positive developments, I believe the negative aspects of capitalism and consumerism are more concerning. The essence of human creativity is being compromised for the sake of high sales and global reach.

Question about countries, which are becoming more and more similar, because of very simple reason- a lot of people can afford to buy the same products and food anywhere in the whole world.

To begin with, in my honest opinion, this is a very positive development. According to hundreds surveys and research, nowadays, it is most important to get some food or other products. Not only in poor countries or continents, such as Africa, where people literally cannot afford drinking water twice a day, but also in the United States and in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, we can notice many poor people who cannot afford to buy food.

Secondly, this development can lead to a growing GDP per capita and to a growing economy of the world. Making prices lower and lower, more people will be able to buy something they want, and it will help millions of businessmen to make more money and to become more famous and popular.

On the other hand, development of this policy can lead to rivalries between poor and wealthy people. Demand for products such as food and medicine will be bigger, and wealthy people just will not have time to buy something, while poor people will be buying everything they want or do not need. With this, I can make a decision that this development also can influence the economy and peace badly, because of this demand, there also will be a chance to start a civil war, which will ruin the country.

Nowadays, nations are becoming similar to each other because individuals can buy the products of their motherland anywhere in the globe. Such as, in local markets. Personally, i belive it is a good improvement. I will support this view with arguments in the following paragraphs.

Firstly, in past, when people started to go abroad they struggled a lot to find their products. For example, the food products, the shampoo, bedsheets and manymore. This is because people was not habitual to stay in different environment, they usually have to carry all the materials from their own country to survive in foreigner country. To illustrate, an article was published by Hindustan Times in 2002 which showed that citizens are struggling to live in disimilar country because they are not getting enough materials that they had in India.

Secondly, some people claim it is a positive development that every dishes of their own country, they are finding where they live. Therefore, thesedays it is easy for us to collect everything that we need. Every country have there own religious, they have different types of food habits and wearing style. To explain this, different styles of clothes, ingredients, snacks, coldrinks, sandals, hair accessiors.

Finally, some people believe that having their own food. It is very convenient to buy when ever you get free time. Additionally, a group of individuals making temples related to their religion. In Italy, there are several types of people who are residing here. People from differents countries creating grocery shops.

To sum up, i believe that the aforementioned points strongly support my viewpoint. As far as i am concerned, that the statement is correct.

  9. Cecilia Krauss says:

Different countries are looking increasingly similar to one another due to the fact that their citizens are able to promptly buy the same products globally. This essay will explore the reasons why I believe this to be unfortunate.

While being able to access diverse goods from all over the world is a recent experience, it comes with a hefty price. This is exemplified by the westernization of Eastern societies. Moreover, in every part of the globe, people are being influenced by trends shown on social media. This increases the proportion of individuals who are opting to consume foreign products, dress like the foreigners whom they follow, and act and look like their favorite digital influencers. For instance, Korean women are known for frequently opting to undergo plastic surgery to obtain Western features, such as certain nose alterations.

Furthermore, although one’s particular preferences should be respected, when a large number of individuals are collectively behaving like foreign people, local culture and customs may be abandoned. This may make global diversity poorer and less interesting. For example, by adopting American commemorative dates, such as Halloween, local ones (like “dia dos finados”) start to be less expressive of national culture. Additionally, some Christmas traditions were imported from European nations and substituted original local ones.

In conclusion, while being able to obtain access to every international item one desires is largely considered a positive development, this habit should not offset the need for maintaining national traditions. This ensures cultural diversity and that ancient traditions will not be forgotten by newer generations.
