Some people think that if children are allowed to make their own choices in everyday matters, such as food, clothes and entertainment, they may grow up to be selfish and only care about their own wishes. Others believe that giving children the chance to decide for themselves is important for their development. In my opinion, children should be allowed to make some decisions, but with guidance from parents.
On the one hand, there is a risk that too much freedom can lead to negative results. If children always choose what they want without limits, they may not learn discipline or responsibility. For example, a child might prefer to eat only fast food or spend all their time playing games. In this case, they may start to think that their desires are always more important than rules or other people’s needs. This situation can create individuals who are less respectful and less patient in society.
On the other hand, making decisions helps children become independent and confident. When children choose their clothes or hobbies, they learn to express their personality. It also teaches them about consequences. If they make a small mistake, they can learn from it in a safe environment. This experience is useful in adult life, because they will need to make bigger decisions in the future. Children who never decide anything by themselves may feel insecure later and depend too much on others.
In conclusion, although giving children complete freedom can cause problems, I believe that allowing them to make choices in daily matters is essential. With proper guidance and clear boundaries, this approach helps children grow into responsible and independent adults.
When it comes to the issue of allowing children to make their own decisions about everyday matters, many people hold various perspectives. While a significant number of individuals believe that adults tend to prioritize their own choices, others feel that it is important for children to make decisions about issues that will affect their future. In this essay, I will outline both sides before giving a reasoned conclusion.
On one hand, there are numerous advantages to the idea of allowing children to make their own choices. Primarily, permitting children to make decisions about small matters such as food, clothing, and entertainment fosters their confidence and independence as they grow. Additionally, this practice contributes to a community where individuals prioritize their own desires. For example, in the future, when these children encounter challenges, they will approach problems with confidence, knowing they are capable of handling the situation without hesitation from their parents.
On the other hand, there are also valid points to consider from the opposing view. For one, allowing children to make their own decisions can sometimes lead them astray; therefore, parents should guide their children to make the right choices. For instance, in today’s world, children have easy access to technology, which can result in excessive screen time or addictive behaviors. If they spend too much time with friends outside the home, it may negatively impact their studies and academic performance. Furthermore, children often struggle to make their own decisions in daily life. For example, while some parents encourage their children to create their own breakfast menus each day, this can be overwhelming for them. In contrast, a certain level of guidance can help them develop independence in fulfilling their needs without becoming overwhelmed.
In conclusion, after examining both sides of this issue, I firmly believe in the merits of the first statement. Allowing children to make their own decisions has significant benefits that can contribute to their development into confident and independent individuals.
BAND : 7
Some individuals believe that there are good benefits to allowing children to make their own choices, even on everyday matters, while others argue that children have the right to decide only matters that affect them. I agree with the former view and will argue that although deciding on big matters is important for children, deciding on daily choices also plays a crucial role in their personality.
On the one hand, it is widely believed that allowing children to make decisions about little matters like food, clothes, and entertainment makes them more independent and confident in their lives. Moreover, that helps to create a community that only thinks about their own wishes without hesitation. For example, when a big, good, or bad event happens in a family or at their parents’ work, they will leave the house freely without concerning themselves about their children, because they are confident and well know that their children will deal with the situation.
On the other hand, some people argue that parents should continue to make decisions about little things like food and clothes, etc., without worrying their children, or because they are still too young to make a decision about it. However, reaching a decision about matters that affect their life is their right, such as their personal or professional career and what they want to be in life. For instance, letting a child decide his own profession makes him more confident and less regretful about it, because he is the one who chose it, and there is no one else to blame when something happens.
In conclusion, giving children space to make decisions about matters that affect them plays a vital role in their personality and society globally. Although, I believe that letting them choose in everyday matters provides the best foundation for growth.
band 7
While some people think that egoistic individuals are shaped if parents let their children choose everyday matters themselves, I take the stance that it is beneficial to let children make their own decisions about daily life things.
Children who have freedom are believed to be individualistic people in the future. Some individuals believe that egoistic generations are shaped when adults let children do whatever they want, particularly on everyday matters. They are most likely to think of themselves without concerning about others’ perspectives. For example, some elderly people feel uncomfortable with the parenting ways of their next generations. Sometimes it is just because parents give their children freedom to choose the style of their daily outfits, making them able to wear inappropriate clothes that mismatch their age.
On the other hand, freedom gives an advantage in building independency, especially for young generations. Children are challenged to make decisions for themselves, in terms of daily life matters. For instance, parents let their children choose and make their own simple breakfast menus every day, without interfering too much. As a result, children gain self-esteem in doing simple tasks in the kitchen, without any hesitation about getting scolded. They also become independent in fulfilling their needs, making what they want, and finishing everything.
In conclusion, some people argue that children who are given freedom to arrange their daily needs are believed to be individualistic people in the future. Meanwhile, independency is built when young generations are trusted to make decisions about matters that affect them.
These days, some group of people believe that, the give children feeling of independent by allowing them making choices regarding daily activities. However, some people argue that this will effect children badly like more egoistic person who never care other. I partially agree with both notion and in this essay i will both arguments.
On the one hand, letting children to make choice is good option in early ages it will develope strong abilities and skills make children happy. For instance, if in school ages children want to eat new food they demand to their parents or made it by own. Moreover, such struggles develop a new talent in children which will help them in the absence of parents to fulfil appetite. In addition, entertainment like games help children to find their talents in adventurous games, in future these abilities become passion.
On the other hand, those who argue for are right at some places like these decision will make children egositic person and ruins their future. For example, in middle class families sometimes children demands for expensive things which is difficult for parents to purchase. Furthermore, if their requirement is not fulfill they behave badly. In result, this notion leads to crime.
In conclusion, it is common belief that the allowing everything to unmature mind is like giving gun to monkey hand. Nevertheless, these practices develop essential skills in children to full superior and in identifying talents. I would highly recommend that, parents should need to keep eye on their children from toddler to school going age and strictly stop from negative.
band 5
Several group of people think that allowing children to make routine dicisions, starting from choise of food and ending with selection of clothes or entertainment, eventually will be egoistic. Other individums believe that it is will enhance of his dicision-making ability. I tend to agree, that it will yield solely a positive effects on their growth.
On the one hand, the children without a comprehension of rules significance and punishments in childhood, usually growing as a person, thinking about his own wishes. Frequently, they do not understanding the time when should to stop, either do not pay their attention on wishes others or feel the syndrom of “main hero”. For instance, in Rushian, according scholarly reserchings, every fifth children is egoistic and spoilt. As a result, a large part of them was noticed in crime.
On the other hand, the egoists are growing by overindulgent and absent of restrictions by mum and dad. However, allowing children to make their judgment oneselves is very essential for them because in the future them will be much eaiser and will do a much less mistakes during a important moments. Primarily, the overindulgents and opportunity for choise are diffenetly different things. While momism will have a negative influence, the disicions in usual life will affect beneficially. A prime example is China, where parents from infancy, gave a space for judgments, and later, individum is growing with solely posotive traits, such as: strong-willed, confidence and responsibility.
In conclusion, it is very essential to know difference between momism and opportunity for decides. If parents will corectly upbringing their babies, in adolescence and in further life the responsible dicisions would not scare them due to wealth undrego from childhood.
On the hand, some people think children should be given full freedom to make decisions in life, while others think such actions will have a negative effect on the society. This essay will discuss both the perspectives of the argument.
Parents believe that their children’s brains were not matured enough to take right decisions in life. Even though decisions that affect child’s life need to be taken by them, in rest of the choice’s parents believe that their interference is necessary. For instance, what to study in life and getting married in life these decisions need to be made by the children. In addition, at the early age the younger ones tend to believe the choices they make are correct without realizing the consequences. Activities such as consumption of alcohols and drugs might sound cool, their brains. I think giving freedom to children in decisions that effect children and assisting him to make correct choices will bring a positive impact on society.
The other group of people believe that giving freedom to make decisions from early age will teach children better values than be taught. Although children might fail at beginning, they tend to gain lessons from the choices made and make right decisions in the future.
In conclusion, giving full power to a in matured brain is having a gun in monkey’s hand. So i believe that parents in addition to giving freedom to their children to make choices, they should always assist in making correct decisions when needed.
