The diagrams illustrate the layout of roads to a city hospital in 2007 and three years later.
Overall, the roads arrangement improved, allowing more convenient access to the hospital. Compared with the parking in 2007, later, more areas were distributed for parking categorized by different needs.
In 2007, there was a ring road surrounding the hospital and a simple crossing between a city road and a hospital road. The parking area was quite small and served for both visitors and hospital workers, also there were six bus stops for emergency vans.
In 2010, there were two roundabouts added to the general roads layout, and also the bus station was directly connected to both of them. These changes created better transportation between city and hospital. At the same time, the parking areas were separated into three categories: a public sector, a zone for staff, and a bus station, making the parking system more structured for visitors and staff.

The two maps display changes that the city hospital underwent between the years 2007 and 2010.

Overall, the city hospital has undergone massive transformations with the addition of more facilities such as roundabouts, a bus station and a new public car park.

In the year 2007, thecity hospital was surrounded by a ring road that is connected to the hospital road and the city road from the south. The hospital road is lined up by six bus stops, three from either side, suggesting that public transport is widely used and a parking space for the staff and members of the public.

In 2010, the hospital is still enclosed by the ring road, but a new public car park has been constructed to the east. Subsequently, two roundabouts have been built on the hospital road, joining the ring road from the north and the city road to the south. Also, the bus stops were completely removed, and a bus station was constructed that has entry and exit points from the roundabouts. The parking space close to the hospital road has been designated for staff only.

The two maps compare the changes of road access to a city hospital in the years 2007 and 2010.

We can see that the new layout of road access to the hospital involves making a number of major changes to the bus stop area. There were no plans to change the ring road or the location of the city hospital.

The most obvious change was that all the bus stops had been removed, and a huge central bus station was built in 2010 on the left side of the hospital road. On the right side of this road, a parking area for both staff and public had been replaced by a staff-only car park in 2010.

In 2007, the only entrance of the hospital was near the old car park in the south-east area; while a new entrance was added in the east in 2010, opposit to the newly established public car park. Besides, in this year, two roundabouts were built in the north and south parts of the hospital road, connecting the ring road, bus station, and the city road.

Looking at the layout map of 2007, the city hospital’s surroundings were simple and designed minimally; however, in the next three years, they became more complex with additional facilities added around the hospital. In the southeast part of the road, there was a car park for both staff and public use. Additionally, there were bus stops on the right and the left sides of the hospital road.

In 2010, the northeast part of the clinic was extended, and the public car park was built with the entrance from the ring road. Two roundabouts were constructed over the three-year period. Furthermore, the bus stop was relocated to the southwest side of the road, while the southeast side of the road was extended to accommodate a staff car park.
