You know, at that moment the Wi-Fi connection suddenly went down completely and it couldn’t have happened at the worst time because I had several urgent university assignments to complete. I was supposed to teach an online lesson and more importantly, I had to present my article at an online conference. Unfortunately the mobile internet connection itself there was painfully slow so it wasn’t a reliable alternative. In addition what made this situation even more frustrating was trying to get through to the right person at the Wi-Fi connection provider because every time I called someone they passed me from one person to another. An age employee gave me different phone numbers to call. Eventually one staff member took down my contact details, my grandparents address and promised to send technician the following day. On top of that, because of Wi-Fi outage, I had no choice but to call off one of my online lessons. I apologized to my students and also explained the situation, which really made me feel quite guilty. Well, fortunately, the next day a technician arrived and found that strong winds had damaged the Wi-Fi cable. Looking back, the problem, I mean, the world itself was quite miniscule, but the company’s poor customer service meet this situation even more successful than it should have been.
