Honestly, I did not expect much from the trip but it still turned out to be more dull than I had ever imagined. We spent almost entire day there. The surroundings mainly consisted of factories, warehouses and empty roads with very little movement. There were no parks, cafes, shopping areas or anything that would usually make a place engaging or lively. I honestly felt very different from the kind of environments I am used to in a city like Vancouver. While my relative was busy with his work, I mostly had nothing to do except than sitting in the waiting area. I remember just looking at my phone repeatedly scrolling through social media applications and checking the time again and again because the hours were passing so slowly even when I stepped outside there was a strange silence in the air and the cold and cloudy weather made everything even more lifeless. The reason I found it so boring was mainly the complete lack of energy and interaction. I usually enjoy places that feel active where there are people around and I can visit various cafes or initiate conversations.
