I was in a very complicated situation after completing my master’s because my family is not that much career oriented. So they want me to settle down by doing marriage. But as a knowledge lover, it has always been my dream to pursue a career in academia. And for that I need to do a PhD. So I knew that I have all the quality, like I am good at research, I am good at academic results. So I know that the ball was in my court and I had to make a careful decision by measuring all the pros and cons of moving abroad for higher studies. So in last year’s in December I made the decision to pursue my dream. Then after that I started applying for various scholarships and luckily in January I got a scholarship from China which covers all of my expenses as well. And I got this scholarship in my favorite subject which is related to supply chain analytics. So I feel really happy after getting the result and now also I am preparing to make my profile a lot better. And I think this decision was very much important for me because it leads me to the way that I always wanted to live. That’s why I think this decision will make me happy in the long run.
