Today I’m going to talk about a truly indispensable skill that completely changed my life, time management. This skill has been essential not only for tackling academic tasks, but also for advancing my research and work. If my memory serves me right, I first encountered time management at the end of grade 9, Before my high school entrance exam, my homeroom teacher, who also taught math, stressed the need to answer easy questions quickly and save time for harder ones. He also warned that spending too much time on a single problem could hurt overall performance. That advice was a game changer, teaching me to think strategically under time pressure. You know, I did apply time management to all my subjects by scheduling daily study plans and always allocating time based on task difficulty and importance. By doing so over years, I could consistently achieve excellent results and build a strong academic record that I have been proud of. Moreover, the habit of effective time management instilled in me discipline and focus. Qualities that have become invaluable in other areas of my life. Now, as a researcher juggling multiple responsibilities, I continue to rely on these techniques daily. Whether I’m learning a new language, drafting research papers, or managing a small business, time management remains my secret weapon. It truly is the icing on the cake, facilitating me to make the most of every minute and handle challenges with ease.
