Tourism has both positive and negative impacts on a country. We can talk about the advantages and disadvantages of tourism. The advantages of tourism include economic growth and cultural exchange. Tourism boosts local businesses, creates jobs, and increases government revenue. Roads, airports, and public services improve due to tourism demand, leading to job creation. Tourism provides employment in the hospitality, transport, and entertainment industries. However, there are drawbacks to tourism. First of all, environmental damage, pollution, waste, and deforestation increase with excessive tourism. Overcrowding at popular tourist spots becomes congested, affecting the local quality of life. We should maintain a sustainable quality of lifestyle because of tourism.
