One traditional story that always fascinated me is the life story of Lord Krishna, a central figure in Hindu mythology. This story spans from his miraculous birth to his divine departure. It is a story filled with adventure, wisdom, and spiritual depth. The story begins with Krishna's birth in a prison cell where his parents, Devaki and Vasudeva, were held captive by the devil king Kansa. Despite all the danger, he managed to survive. He was a mysterious child. He performed many miracles, like lifting a mountain, helping to protect villagers from torrential rain, and playing a crucial role in the Mahabharata. His life ended with a serene departure in Dwarka, marking the end of the Dwaparayuga. I heard this story when I was around 10 years old during the festival of Janmashtami. My grandmother narrated it to me with such emotion and detail that I felt as if I was watching it unfold in front of my eyes.
