Well, I have come across many traditional Bengali stories, but one story that has always fascinated me the most is by Ajit Bostami, who was devoted to his mother. I first read the story when I was in class 1 in a storybook. I was really fascinated by the story. One night, Baijit Bustami was reading at his table. His mother was sleeping beside him. His mother uttered, "Water, water." Baijit Bustami went to the pitcher and saw there was no water. Then Baijit Bustami went far away to collect some water so that his mother could drink it. The night was so dark, and everything around him was so calm and quiet. He was very afraid, but he was able to collect the water and returned to his mother. He saw that his mother had fallen asleep again. He didn't call her because the night passed, and in the morning, his mother saw that he was standing beside her with a glass of water.
