I don't believe historical films are common in my country. One main reason for that is such films require a large budget, while my country is on a tight budget for film production. Although the film industry has been improving to create historical films, producers need to hire talented actors and pay a lot of money for set design and to build appropriate backgrounds. So that's the reason why they face significant challenges in making historical films in my country.
