Well, I think the appropriate age for children to start making their own decisions depends largely on their cognitive development. This can vary significantly from one individual to another. Generally, many people begin to make significant choices at the age of 18. For instance, in Vietnam, when young people reach this milestone, they are faced with important decisions regarding their future, such as whether to enter the workforce or pursue higher education at university.
