The book that had a lasting impression on me was about a hunter game and is a dystopian novel. I read it this summer during my free time, and it was really exciting; I finished it in just two days. The story is about teenagers, particularly a girl named Katniss, who enters a dangerous game to protect her hometown called District 12, which is the poorest district in the world and struggles with food scarcity. If she wins, her hometown will improve. I enjoyed specific elements of the book, particularly how it shows that teenagers can do everything that adults can do. This made me believe in myself more and realize that I have the opportunity to make the world better. I learned that I can achieve anything by myself, regardless of my age. At the end of the day, I can say that this book gave me more confidence.
