Generally speaking, I’m not a book person. I’m more of a visual learner than reading. But all of a sudden I thought I should start reading books since it helps people to gain knowledge. And deliberately I bought a book which had a skull picture on the cover. So I thought that it would be a horror genre. But to my dismay, I was taken aback after reading the book halfway through. it wasn’t about a horror genre, it was about dark romance. Mind you, I don’t like romance that much and on top of that it was dark romance. So after I start reading page after page, I thought it wouldn’t couldn’t get any worse but it was getting more worse and worse. I don’t want to speak of the topic that I learned from that book because it was too disturbing and then my perspective over things changed a lot then it used to be and the proverb don’t judge a book by its cover was spot on for that situation and after that I subsequently stopped buying book out of the shell without even knowing what inside it. And I think people should search and investigate before anything they want to read if they’re not mentally okay with it. So yeah, This is how a book changed my perspective.
