Actually, I don't really read a lot of books these days, unfortunately, because I don't have enough time, and I can't even name a specific book that impacted my perspective. I think the latest thing I read is How to Catch a Monster by a Russian author. It's an adventure novel, and there is a character that I really like. His decisions are quite unusual for me. In the first part of the book, I had no idea how to understand this character, but in the end, when I saw his decisions from his own perspective, I tried to take his place. This is when I understood something more about him and about how to act in such situations. How can other people act? Not like me, but just... I don't think it impacted my perspective in a significant way, but I can agree with some of the terms that I would never have agreed with in the past. After reading this book, I now understand. For example, he said that jealousy is not a bad feeling sometimes. I can't fully agree with that, but I understand that he meant jealousy can also push you forward to something new, to become better. Maybe not for the person you are jealous of, but it can motivate you a little bit and make you better. I think this is a thought that I have to rethink.
