Recently, I finished a book named No Longer Human by Dazai. He's a Japanese writer who published this book years ago. It talks about his own life, discussing the depression he experienced, the problems he faced, and how he sees the world from his perspective. He talks about his feelings and ultimately about his suicide at the end, as he took his own life after writing this book. I decided to read it because it's one of my interests; I really like Japanese writers, Japanese artists, and everything related to that. When I first saw the title of this book, I felt like it was calling me. I just knew I had to read it because I enjoy these kinds of stories. What's my perspective about reading it? As I mentioned, from the first time I saw it, I felt compelled to read it. I have been living through similar situations that Dazai described, so I thought it might make me feel more comfortable knowing I'm not the only one experiencing this. How did the book change my perspective? While reading this book, I learned more about Dazai and his struggles. It had a profound effect on me and changed my opinion and perspective on life. Even now, every single word he wrote stays in my mind. He really changed the fact that life is unfair, showing that there are still good things in life. That's what Dazai conveyed to me and how it made me feel.
