I think a creative person whose work I really admire would be Van Gogh, the Dutch artist. As is well known, his creative work is paintings, especially oil paintings. He has marvelous shades of yellow and his shading and coloring on the canvas are exceptional. I found out about him back when I was in middle school. We were in an art class, and our teacher showed us a video of his biography, and I was stunned by the quality of his work and the lifelong journey of becoming a great artist who sadly wasn't appreciated enough when he was alive. This is also one of the reasons that I admire Van Gogh. Unfortunately, he wasn't given the respect that he deserved when he was alive. I really admire his brush strokes on the canvas and the way he makes a story seem so magical. I am able to see sunflowers in a fairy-tale-like way, thanks to his work. He is the greatest artist for me.
