One of the most difficult decisions that I had to make was going on an exchange program in Japan during my studies. The decision was complicated, and the whole process took a lot of time since I had to plan my finances as well as my graduation plans. That's why I started looking into SCOM scholarships, since without a scholarship I would not have been able to support myself. I planned ahead that even if I got a scholarship, I would try my best to find a part-time job so I could support myself and travel around the country while I was there, and that's exactly what I did. The decision itself was difficult because of many factors, mostly regarding my family and how they would think and whether they would support me or not. The distance was also a concern, as Japan and Serbia are quite far apart, and when I had to go to Japan, I had to travel for over 14 hours, which is really tiring. But in the end, I'm really glad that I decided to study there, as it became a valuable experience for my personal growth.
