So now I'm going to describe a challenging decision that I had to make. This decision was made very recently. The problem was that I had over-trained my back, so I couldn't do any deadlifts or squats. These are essential exercises for my powerlifting journey, so I had to make different decisions. I had three options. First, I could just rest for a week, but I didn't like this decision because I prefer doing light workouts during this time. Speaking of light workouts, I thought I could take it easy on them and have a lot of energy and reserve afterward. My third option was to delete exercises that create back pain for a week. I always find making decisions very difficult, so I chose to do light workouts. I used a slightly different schedule, but I did not reset or eliminate any essential exercises. The situation was that I needed to take one step back to then take two steps forward.
