Well, that's an interesting topic, and I'm sure I'll enjoy talking about it. A foreigner who speaks my native language very well? Well, I'm Bengali, and my native language is Bangla. I speak it very well, but my friend who lives in the UK also speaks Bangla very well. I was surprised when I heard this. I couldn't believe it! He's like a brother to me, and he's lived in London since his childhood. He even has British citizenship, but his parents still live in Bangladesh. I met him last month, and I asked him how he learned Bangla. He told me he learned some Bangla on YouTube, some from his parents and relatives, and some by listening to them. He also learned a lot because he's interested in our native language. I'm proud of him. I'm proud when I hear him speak Bangla so well. He's really impressed me.
