If I have to pick a gift for my friend, I would like to buy snow goggles for one of my friends named Martin. Martin is my former colleague and best friend from my last job. We almost joined the same company at the same time and had similar academic backgrounds, so we were very close at that time. However, recently, Martin was transferred to a branch in Hong Kong, and I also switched my career to another company. So we haven't met in person for a while. The main reason why I want to buy snow goggles for Martin is because of a message on Instagram. I love snowboarding and I'm a little addicted to it. I plan a snowboarding trip next February in Tokyo. Once I saw Martin's Instagram story, which said he wanted to experience the feeling of snowboarding. At that time, I sent a message to him and asked if he wanted to join our trip. He replied yes quickly. After that, he went to the indoor ski center a few times and said he loved that place. I know that Martin wants to buy his snow goggles next year for our snowboarding trip. I think it will be a big surprise if I buy him one as a birthday gift. I believe he will love it.
