So today I want to share with you about a historical event in our country which is called the Independence Day. This was celebrated in the 1945. This event marked our independence. Our president at that time was Mr. Ho Chi Minh. He read the declaration among the citizens, among Vietnamese people. This document declared that our country is an independent nation in the world. It also highlighted the right of Vietnamese people to live legally as global citizen in the world. It is important to remember that at that time, although it was highlighted like that, but the northern area of our country were still under colonial rule. So it was essential for the workforce in the north to not just producing good but also supporting the people in the south to fight and struggle against the invaders such as Americans and Japanists. Till nowadays, I am still truly grateful for having the opportunity to learn about such events which nurture the gratitude inside of young generations like me. I also appreciate what our ancestors sacrificed to bring peace and freedom for us nowadays.
