Today, I'm going to talk about a historical event that truly interests me. You know, in the past, our country was invaded and colonized by different powerful nations for a very long time. Due to widespread illiteracy in Vietnam at the time, farmers had to submit to these inhumane military forces and suffer from brutal policies and inflation that took a heavy toll on the local population. However, through their actions and unity, the Vietnamese people finally fought successfully and secured their independence. Vietnam's independence was officially declared on September 2nd, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square. On that day, residents, mostly from the northern regions of Vietnam, gathered in the capital at Ba Dinh Square, filled with joy. President Ho Chi Minh read aloud the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. This declaration affirmed the importance of the human right to freedom and independence. This momentous occasion was witnessed by thousands of people who shed tears of happiness. This event holds several valuable lessons for future generations. Firstly, it serves as a clear testament to the effectiveness of the Vietnamese Communist Party's leadership, which laid the foundation for the nation's future direction. By remembering this event, we can also instill a sense of patriotism in future generations.
