History is very important to understand the culture, identity, and traditions of a country. While I don't particularly enjoy history, I am fascinated by certain events that help us understand the world better. One such period I'd like to learn more about is the Indus Valley Civilization. I became interested after watching a movie called 'Mohenjo Daro' a few years ago. It depicted the advanced civilization of Mohenjo-daro, which had an incredible drainage system that is still astounding today. The people of that time built roads that met at right angles and had an underground drainage system. It's amazing that we are only now, after so many years, using similar underground train systems. I want to learn more about this civilization because there is so much to discover about their advanced urban planning. Their architecture and brick structures were impressive. I studied it briefly in 9th grade, and my school even organized a trip to the National Museum in Delhi where I saw artifacts, like seals and pottery, from that era. I believe I can learn more by researching online, delving deeper into the subject, and visiting the actual sites. The exact reason for the decline of this Indus Valley Civilization is still unclear, and many theories exist.
